On Aprıl 25, 2025, students from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Malatya Turgut Özal University, organized a sapling planting and book analysis event as part of the "Blossom in Your Own Shadow" initiative. The event took place at the Yeşilyurt Campus and was attended by faculty members and students of the Turkish Language and Literature Department. During the event, the students also dedicated a sapling they planted in honor of Malatya Turgut Özal University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan ERDEM. The event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÖZGER, Head of the Department.
